Acting

I've been fortunate to work within professional theatre and television environments, which has refined my ability to collaborate under high pressure and communicate complex narratives—skills that I translate directly into my engineering and teamwork environments.

Acting 1

Soulpepper City Youth Academy (2024)

The Diner (2024) is an ensemble piece performed at Toronto's world-renowned Soulpepper Theatre. As a part of the City Youth Academy, I collaborated within a group of ten actors to weave together an interconnected narrative set within a small-town diner.

I portrayed the role of a father navigating a complex divorce and the possibility of losing custody of his daughter. This role demanded high levels of emotional vulnerability and resilience, which was supported by the collaborative energy of the ensemble.

Performing at an institution like Soulpepper taught me the discipline required for professional production and the power of collaborative storytelling in an intimate setting.

Acting 2.1 Acting 2

NTV Utsho (2016)

Appeared as a recurring child actor in the beloved Bangladeshi soap opera NTV Utsho. This early exposure to television production sparked my interest in professional performance and the discipline required on a high-stakes set.

Arts

Visual art serves as my laboratory for exploring composition, perspective, and the psychological impact of visual systems. My work focuses on complex narratives and social commentary, utilizing diverse mediums to refine the same observant eye I use for engineering design.

Fame (2023)

Fame (2023)

Fame (2023) comments on mid-20th-century show business and the profound price individuals often paid to achieve visibility and fortune.

In the foreground stands a figure amidst an ocean of book pages—symbols of the noise and public commentary that surround success. The vibrant skies represent creative talent, juxtaposed against judgmental eyes that pierce the midground, conveying the unrelenting scrutiny of society.

In the background, censored images of past celebrities signify the loss of privacy that comes with high-level achievement. Fame stands as an observation on the intersection of creative passion and the pressures of the public gaze.

Home Front (2024)

Home Front (2024) responds to the systematic destruction of the Holocaust, with a specific focus on the obliteration of the home as the primary vessel for personal history, identity, and memory.

The central form of Home Front is a fractured domestic facade, rendered in fragile, fired clay. This material choice underscores the vulnerability of human sanctuary. The bombed-out windows and shattered walls are not merely structural damage; they are voids where life once pulsed. These absences symbolize the brutal erasure of everyday rituals, whispered conversations, and the accumulated warmth of generations—all annihilated in an instant of targeted violence. The piece stands as a stark, silent witness to the countless homes reduced to rubble, each one a universe of stories extinguished.

The textural surface of the clay, marked by intentional cracks and rough, unfinished edges, speaks to the trauma inflicted not only on brick and mortar but on the very concept of safety. The scale of the piece, intimate enough to hold, forces a confrontation with the personal magnitude of such loss, countering the abstract, statistical horror of historical atrocity. It insists that we comprehend the Holocaust not only in camps and cattle cars but in the smoldering wreckage of a childhood bedroom, a kitchen table buried under beams, a family portrait swallowed by dust.

This work contends that to destroy a home is to attack the future as much as the past. It severs the physical lineage where heirlooms are passed down and where family narratives are nurtured. Home Front serves as a memorial for these lost domestic archives. It asks the viewer to consider what fragments they would clutch if their own world was shattered, and to remember that behind every historical headline of destruction lies an irreplaceable, intimate world, now silent.
